JavaScript
You may not know what JavaScript is, but we can use it to make your site very interactive.
Rollovers -- Those signs at the top of the page change color, highlighting to yellow when you move your mouse over them. Try it here with another sign...
- New Window -- When the user clicks a link, you can have information pop up in a smaller window. This way they can get the info quickly, without having to leave your page.
- Alert Window -- You can have small windows pop up to alert the user when an action is performed.
- Day and Date -- Your site can appear more "current" if we display the day and date when your page is loaded. We can do that...
Note: This is actually the day and date in your computer's clock. If a user hasn't set the day and date accurately, that incorrect day and date will display.
This site has been constructed using JavaScript. Netscape and Microsoft browsers differ in their ability to handle JavaScript programming. Different browsers display our site in different ways. We try to program so that the site looks presentable in every browser, perhaps without all the bells and whistles we've programmed in.
